Albatron is releasing its first mini Tablet PC, called “Tee PC”. It is a nice little system that can be used straight out of the box.  It uses a touch screen and pen navigation system.

The operating system is Windows CE 6.0 and has Wordpad, Media Player and Internet Explorer installed. It can be used with a docking station or used by itself. 

The technical statistics are:

  • Cpu – ARM926, 400 MHZ
  • Screen – 7″, 800 x 400
  • Memory – 128MB
  • Storage – 128MB

The device is well suited for mobile browsing and email, but probably not much else. The small storage size severely limits its use in the mobile PC market. It would be well suited for information terminals and kiosks.
