The Easter long weekend is nearly here. How time flies. I’ve been really busy with a lot of other activities, as well as thinking about this site a lot. If you asked me a year ago if I would start a blog I would have said no. It really has been a good experience. Not everything has been successful and there was a little learning curve, but still it has been good.

I’ve tried my hand a couple of other sites as well. 

Hopefully mid this year I will present a different look and feel for this blog. I want to split more between life in general and Technology. I see that a lot of readers are looking for answers to actual problems. While a lot of others are just seeking to understand a particular area of technology better.

There really are so many sites out there. Maybe there are simply too many blogs or maybe a blog is simply the new website?

Drop me a line if you have ideas you would like to see get implemented.

In my day job I work with technology and tend to focus on real world issues that I experience.

What would help you? I have thought about ebooks, newsletters and the like. Then sometimes I feel there so many of these that people simply stop reading them.

This week everyone was expecting a virus outbreak. The worm_downad.kk virus variant was predicted to start on the 1st of April. That was a real fizzer. Maybe the antivirus experts were simply over compensating for the lack of really warning for worm_downad.ad. That affected people early March. Anyway the 1st of April was really quiet.

Next week I am starting to work with XenServer. I will be converting VMware virtual machines to XenServer virtual machines. I will add a How-to for this afterwards.
