It seems that when times get tough Internet Marketing so called guru’s launch a new product that promises to make you rich within weeks with no effort at all.

If they are a master of one thing it is the marketing machine. They produce nice videos with compelling results, pdf manuals and lessons that give you almost everything you need.

I’ll admit that even I find the idea of making money online attractive. I know of at least 3 new launches that have happened or are happening very soon.

So what is wrong with these people trying to repackage their knowledge? Nothing, good on them for doing it. But the real issue I have is that the dreamers and get rich quick people of the world can never follow through and succeed.

I also think that the affiliate marketing scene is now so over sold. How many people really make the big money? How many of those people that say they make the big money are really making the money through selling affiliate training packages?

Maybe it is just me but the long sales letter, the favorite tool of the affiliate marketer, is so repulsive and is the quickest thing to turn me off a product. I guess however that while I would close the page that tries to bombard me with 99% propaganda and jargon, many other people would be overwhelmed and simply click through.

If you are successful as an affiliate marketer I commend your achievements. Please however don’t take that as an invitation to start another affiliate marketing website. Please don’t launch another great program that promises to make money while you sleep.

Instead, savour your winnings and think about your future and do something valuable with your life.
