Acrobat Reader 9.x Causes a Runtime error

The latest versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader have seemed to have introduced an annoying bug. When you open a PDF attachment from Microsoft Outlook 2003 after about 5 seconds an error appears and closes Acrobat Reader.
“Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error!” or some variation of it.
The problem is associated with folder redirection in the user profile. [...]

Publishing Explorer for users in XenApp 5 on Windows 2008

Currently I am building a new XenApp 5.0 farm that requires both Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 servers. As a part of this process I am publishing applications and testing them as I go.
The old Presentation Server 4 environment is obviously all Windows Server 2003.

Microsoft announces changes for VDI licensing

Microsoft has announced a number of upcoming licensing changes. Included in those changes are some new licenses for VDI (Virtualization Desktop Infrastructure) implementations on Microsoft products.
There will be two new licenses:

Microsoft VDI Standard Suite

Microsoft VDI Premium Suite

These new licenses will match the other well known license normally associated with VDI, Virtual Enterprise Centralized Desktop (VECD).
